About the fading problem of indigo dyeing

As the indigo dyeing circle becomes more mature, the fading of indigo dyeing has also become very popular, but there is still a reminder: wearing indigo dyeing is a fading process. The fading process in the early washing process is more severe, and the first three waters will be particularly obvious.

Why does indigo dyeing fade?

The plant indigo dyeing series products produced by bagsofelegances are all hand-dyed by ancient methods. The indigo dye used is made by fermentation of pure natural plants. Because the adhesion of plant dyes themselves is very low, and the blue is formed by contact with air oxidation. Only repeated immersion can get real indigo (indigo). Even so, it is difficult to dye the cotton core part transparently. Therefore, through long-term wearing and washing, the friction parts will show a sharp contrast between blue and white.

The fading principle of indigo dyeing is very similar to that of raw denim.

If denim does not fade, how to wash out different texture effects, the whisker effect of wear marks, etc? The so-called non-fading is not indigo dyeing. Good indigo dyeing is not non-fading, but it maintains a stable shape, no deformation, and a small shrinkage rate after the fading is stable.
